Cereste - Provence
Céreste is actually at the crossroads of the two Provences. To the west is the Luberon and its famous villages – Gordes, Bonnieux, Lacoste and Roussillon, among many others – the vineyards towards the Rhône and côtes du Ventoux, and also worth mentioning are the antiques market of l’Isle sur la Sorgue, which is just moments away.
To the east you will discover a more rural atmosphere with the Alps being within reach. Here, you will find the wide open spaces of the Valensole plateau, where the best lavander is produced, or the world famous Verdon canyon, together with the farmers’ markets of Forcalquier and Apt, as well as some of the secluded and unspoiled villages of Haute Provence (Banon, Viens, Saignon).
The region is known also for its wide range of possibilities for trekking, horseriding and cycling, with Céreste being one of the stops on those circuits.
The Liebert family will be pleased to assist you in organising your visit in sunny Provence.
